A Tribute to Ralph Vaughan Williams

2022 was the 150 anniversary of Ralph Vaughn Williams’ birth and this concert celebrates his contribution to the wind symphony repertoire. Selections include the Sea Songs, the Toccata Marziale, and the Prelude on Three Welsh Hymns. His use of English folk material is evident in many of the works and magically evokes the spirit of that ‘green and pleasant land’.
